Therapy that honors your body, mind, and faith.
Where vulnerability meets
curiousity - the place where healing occurs.

"In therapy, the things we don't say are often the loudest voices in the room. Healing begins when we give words to the shame, grief, or desires that have been kept silent."
~ Esther Perel ~

About Me
With nearly 15 years of experience as a physiotherapist specializing in cancer care, I have spent my career working closely with individuals facing severe chronic illness to help them find both physical and emotional strength when faced with unthinkable circumstances.
My therapeutic approach has been shaped by my faith as a Christian, a faith that sees beauty and good in every soul, a faith that values life and truth above all.
Areas of Focus

Cancer Support
Cancer is only a part of your story.
Whether it's you or a loved one, this life-changing diagnosis may be leaving you with all kinds of emotions: fear, sadness, anger, grief, confusion, and loss of control. By learning to get to know each of these parts, you will come to realize that finding your Self is the key to telling the whole story.
Chronic Pain & Illness
It's not in your head.
If you have been dealing with physical symptoms that don't seem to be getting better with medical management, maybe it's time to try a different approach. By understanding the mind-body connection using principles of pain reprocessing therapy, you can learn to relate to your body in a way that changes your physical experience.

Burnout
You can do it all, but you don't have to.

Maybe you're in a caregiving profession or maybe you're trying to juggle the needs of everyone around you. There are a million reasons why you're utterly exhausted, but you don't have to be. By exploring practical strategies to shift the focus back onto you without everything falling apart, you can regain control of your life and your schedule.
Depression
You're not alone.

There are days when it's hard to get out of bed, when nothing seems worth it, when hope is hard to find, when everything feels like a chore. And the worst part: no one understands. There is light in the midst of the darkness. Through a better understanding of the underlying causes for these feelings, there is a way out.

Anxiety
It won't feel like this forever.

Recurrent feelings of worry have a way of making you feel like they'll never go away, like they are a part of your identity that you will never be able to shake. But that's simply not true. Anxiety's job is actually to protect you from being hurt. But through conversations that empower you to be your own protector, anxiety will no longer have a role in your life.
Faith-Based Care
Your beliefs are part of who you are.

It can often feel like mental health and spiritual concerns are completely separate things, but for those who identify faith as a significant part of their identity, integrating faith-based care into this work can be incredibly meaningful. Through an intentional incorporation of your beliefs into our approach, therapy can become a truly spiritual practice.

My Approach
Compassionate
In creating an environment where it is safe to be vulnerable, compassionate care allows you to unpack the stories that have shaped your identity and cultivate a new sense of meaning.
Curious
Therapy is not about finding out what's wrong with us, but rather, to discover what we are capable of and to unearth the parts of ourselves we have hidden away.
Collaborative
A collaborative approach involves an active engagement with the unknown where both therapist and client are willing to take a leap of faith.
